Seeking Applicant for Deputy Clerk

Summary:

The Town Clerk’s office is currently seeking an applicant for a Deputy Clerk. This part-time position averages 20 hours a week. The Deputy Clerk would work three days a week as well as 10-12 on some Saturdays from September to May. This position is appointed by the Town Clerk and approved by the Town Board.  

 

The ideal candidate will possess good computer skills and be willing to learn on the job. The candidate will also be comfortable interacting with the public and dealing with cash transactions. Other duties include the processing of dog licenses, hunting licenses, marriage licenses/transcripts, accessible tags, and, during the tax season (January-April), the processing of the Town and County tax bills. Start date is January 2020.
